F1 24 Monza Setup Walkthrough
Track Characteristics
The GP at Monza is notorious for being one of the faster of the year, it is a track that was designed with speed at the heart, although some turns have been added to make things safer. All in all, set your car up for speed here and there’s nothing you can’t do.
Aerodynamics
Front wing aero is at 9 while rear wing is at 0. The 9 is just for some downforce on the chicanes but otherwise this one is all about maximising the power of your car and hitting top speeds.
Transmission
Engine braking at 100 is necessary to slow down the car from the high speeds. On throttle differential goes to 35 while off throttle goes to 50.
Suspension Geometry
Camber angles once again go to the lowest setting the front goes to -3.5 as the rear goes to -2.2. Front toe goes to 0.03 while rear toe is at 0.07.
Suspension
The following Suspension settings are the best ones for this track, stick to these and you’ll be doing well:
Front Suspension: 25
Rear Suspension: 15
Front Anti-Roll Bar: 3
Rear Anti-Roll Bar: 4
Front Ride Height: 30
Rear Ride Height: 45
The Anti-Roll sections are so low to deal with the speed of the track and how that’ll impact your turns, this lower setting should enable you to take the high speed turns fairly well.
The ride height has to be higher as you’ll likely be riding the kerbs to a degree and there is one higher one to worry about.
Brakes
The usual split should work here with 95 pressure and 55 braking bias.
Tyres
Tyre pressure will for once be a little all over the place but there is a rational here. The front tyres should be split as right tyre at 24.5 with the left tyre being a 25.5. On the rear, the right is 25.5 while the left is 26.5.
