One of the tougher full moon bosses in Persona 3 Reload is a double-header against the SEES opposition Takaya Sakaki and Jin Shirato. This is a break from the norm as you’re combatting two human players with distinct abilities as opposed to Shadows. In this Takaya Sakaki & Jin Shirato boss guide, I will be looking at the boss level, recommended player levels and other weaknesses and tips to beat the shadow.

Takaya Sasaki & Jin Shirato Boss Guide – Persona 3 Reload
Strengths & Weaknesses
Takaya is neutral to every element but Light and Dark attacks. Takaya is also neutral to all three forms of physical damage. He reflects light attacks but blocks dark.
Jin Shirato is similarly neutral to all forms of physical damage. He reflects fire and dark elements but blocks light. Jin is neutral to all other elements.
Levels
Jin and Takaya are likely to range between Level 53 and 55 as the boss fight immediately after is Level 57. This would likely put them closer to 55.
The player’s team should aim to enter the fight as close to their level as possible, especially if you want to make the Hanged Man battle easier.
Tips
Between them Jin and Takaya can deal out Pierce, Fire, Ice, Electric, Wind, Almighty, and Dark attacks. Game planning for all of these is almost impossible but you can minimise these and maximise the weaknesses with a team of MC, Aigis, Yukari, and Akihiko or Mitsuru whoever is levelled up more.
The MC equipping a Persona that can negate Mudo is crucial to surviving as Jin has a chance to insta-kill and end the battle in one swoop with Mudo and Mudoon.
Prep your team with armour and accessories before the fight to increase evasion and, where possible, weaken the impacts of the elements they’re weak to.
The easiest strategy is to focus on Jin. His insta-kill ability and Evil Smile move are detrimental to your success so focus every major attack you have on Jin to lower his health. Depending on the moves available you’ll be attacking both targets at once anyway but where there’s a more powerful option, focus it on Jin.
That is easier said than done as a lot of the battle will be spent healing and reviving from Mudoon and Takaya’s elemental attacks but if you keep on top of things with items and Yukari being used as the healer you’ll eventually turn the tide. The MC can lend a hand to debuff Fear or heal but always make sure to keep a Persona equipped that won’t get one hit killed by Mudo as that will end the fight immediately.
